Cat5e Wiring

Category 5e wiring is mainly used in 100 Mbit/s transmission over an ethernet network. For most residential and business networks, this is a sufficient speed. However, in the coming years, gigabit ethernet will become more prevalent. Gigabit ethernet is better suited for Cat6 wiring; for this reason, we usually run Cat5e wiring for telephones only.
